Faculty of economics is a main unit in the University of Economics- Varna’s structure by covering sciences of similar branches of knowledge and unites chairs for providing training of students in one or a group of similar majors. University of Economics- Varna offers recognized and current majors pursuing Bachelor’s and Master’s degree and Doctor’s degree in Social, economic and legal science and professional direction Economics which makes it a desired and preferred educational institution not only in the University of Economics- Varna but also on national and international level.

There is a stable trend for people who apply to the university to prefer this faculty’s majors and there are no serious problems for gathering students for all the majors of the Faculty of economics. Every year the Faculty of economics at the University of Economics- Varna trains over 3000 students pursuing bachelor’s degree (full- time study) and Master’s degree (full- time, extramural and distance study). The training of students pursuing bachelor’s degree is carried out in eight majors: Economics of commerce, Business economics, Economics of construction, Economics of real properties, Industrial business, Logistics, Agrarian business, Commodities’ science) and in nine majors in Master’s degree studies (Corporate business and management, Commercial business, Economics of construction (Construction entrepreneurship), Business economics, Economics of real properties, Agrarian business, Business consulting, Commodities’ quality and examination, Logistic management). The majors specified are administered by five chairs (Economics and management of commerce, Economics and management of construction, Economics and management of industry, Economics of agriculture, Commodities’ science).
